Hello people of earth!

Let's see. I'm in no short order, an artist, a writer, a comic book dork, an amateur computer nerd, an avid reader, and a ninja. Okay, I lie about that last part and tend to prefer pirates anyway. Also, despite being an avid reader, I'm a slow one.

So, I've been a bit lonely lately and wanted to see what's about. I'm not quite an atheist or a theist but more of a symbolist. I love mythology and religion as intellectual pursuits as opposed to any belief in them.

I love music. Bands and musicians I am particularly fond of are Matthew Good, Ani Difranco, Bad Religion, VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, and more than I could reasonably list on a profile.

I love books. My room is a small library of odd topics.

I currently work for a green business. It's not exactly the most fulfilling thing in the world but it keeps me eating. Unfortunately I work 6 days a week (not full time however so it's not like I never have time to myself or for someone else).

Comics I've been quite fond of include Promethea, Tom Strong, Fell, the Invisibles, Grendel, Sandman, the first run of Ultimates (which seems to have degenerated to 616-lite from what I've seen). Hated the whole Civil War nonsense.

I dig weird films. Tetsuo the Iron Man and Ichi the Killer are two of my all time favorites.

I speak a bit of Japanese and French, but neither extremely well.

I'm getting into exercising, mostly biking.

Politically I like to think of myself as non-Euclidean (bonus points if you get the reference).
