I'm 30-year-old, cynical Atheist (does that go without saying?). Born in Northern California. Raised as a Hindu in a single parent household by a hippy. Best job I ever had was working as a Crew Leader in the California Conservation Corps. Second best: growing medical marijuana for 7 years. I'm currently on felony probation for a marijuana charge (possession w/intent)and planning on moving back to California when I work off my legal burdens. I've had a lot of crap luck when it comes to meeting similar guys in rural Northern Iowa (who'da thunk it?) so I'm trying out this site. Worked in the restaurant business for years (both from and back of the house) but had a run of sh*tty bosses, so I left the industry and now I'm working as a carpenter. My humor is cutting and dark; I have a tendency to go for the jugular without even realizing it, so I'm looking for someone who's got enough confidence to not feel the need to ask me if I'm mad at them every 10 seconds. Major hobbies are Photography and Karaoke. I'm honest to a fault (if you doubt this, I'd love to show you my arrest papers), and I expect the same from those I keep close to me. I love proper grammar and punctuation. I also have a fondness for old Fords...they're so damned easy to work on. I'm an avid gardener. Favorite Bands: Slightly Stoopid and mc_chris Favorite Movies: Labrynth, The Never Ending Story, and Office Space Favorite TV shows: It's Always Sunny, Mr. Show, and Frisky Dingo I hope that is enough for a decent introduction...oh, I rarely (once a week or so) have internet access, so please be patient if waiting for me to reply.
