Quiet nerd from Grand Rapids area.

I can look a little rough around the edges, but I'm easy to get along with. I'd consider myself somewhat of a nerd. Working toward a bachelors in biochemistry. I want to study the brain, but I can't figure out if I want to be a researcher or educator. I'm trying to write novel(s) in my spare time (one rough draft complete that I'm slowly revising and several other first drafts started) that I would eventually like to get published. I don't always have the best social graces, but I'm not an @ssh*le. I can be a bit reserved at first, but those who know me seem to enjoy my company. My humor can be random, dark, goofy, bizarre, sarcastic, deadpan, self-deprecating, complex, and childish, sometimes all at the same time. I'm generally good humored and can find something funny about many situations. I like to play chess, even though I'm not terribly great at it. Because of school I live with my parents. I graduated high school in 2003, didn't go to college, I moved out for a while, then decided to go back to school so I moved back home while I go to college full time. Currently going to GRCC and plan to transfer to GVSU next fall. I don't always have a beard. I'm usually a homebody, but I'm not against going out. I prefer more low key settings than loud clubs or busy bars, though.
