Only Dead Fish Swim with the Stream

Truthfully, I do not know whether a power outside or greater than myself exists. Likewise, I have no right to insist I know for others, or can deny their beliefs and perceptions. I only know for myself--there is none. Aldous Huxley originated the word Agnostic, and defined it as not seeing any reason to believe in god, or any reason not to believe in god. But truly, reason has little to do with it. Everyone has faith--even the godless. They just do not have in god. I am an historian and archivist, former chef and musician. I collect central asian embroidery and enjoy oriental carpets and Islamic design. What about you? I am a food explorer, and worship at the altar of ethnic food at least twice every weekend. Would love to meet like minded and kindred spirits. (Spirits?) I try not take anything too seriously. So many "I"s in this, what about "U"?
