You should really just relax...

I never know what to write in these boxes. Do I summarize my life in a way that sells myself to the reader? Do I even assume there is a reader, or should I indulge in some introspective self-analysis? Would a semi-comprehensive listing of likes and interests be appropriate? Should I try and entertain you with a witty wall of text? Perhaps I should try and impress you with my esoteric, but ultimately useless, knowledge? I am not convinced that anything will come of this. I have been disappointed by dating sites before. I am however hopeful. I am not the kind of guy who takes compliments very well. You could say that I have low self-esteem, but that is not quite true. I think I have a firm grasp on my worth, but use self-deprecating humor as a defensive measure to protect my self. I would say describe my political views as mostly liberal, but there are some aspects of libertarianism that I find compelling. I know that I would never be included in the ruling elite, and therefore eschew any political system that contains such a group. I look forward to any responses. Thank you for your time.
