I joined because I'm an atheist and it was suggested on Trek Passions. What can I say? I'm not a dogmatic atheist. We can't know that there is or is not a god. To me atheist means a-theist, Not a theist. One who doesn't believe that there is a god. The universe? It has no meaning or purpose; it's just a bunch of atoms and molecules and stuff. "Nam corpora sunt et inane" There are atoms and vacuum. Lucretius. I know my Latin poets.
