Looking for Logic In Understanding the Universe.

I am a life long atheist. My parents are both atheists. They did not, however, guide me to atheism. I saw the light- or lack therof- by myself. The argument that because the universe is so amazing there must be a creator is completely circular. God's existence would be just as amazing as the existence of the universe. So it does not solve anything. I do not favor imposing atheism on anyone, just as religion should not be imposed upon anyone. My main problem with religion is therefore, the desire among of its followers to have it imposed upon others. I am therefore interested in meeting someone who shares my desire for a secular state. It is okay if you are agnostic. I just do not believe you could convince me that there may be a god. However, I would love to hear arguments for and against the existence of a god or gods. I should take a ittle bit about myself in other ways. I just started classes at Suffolk University in their Masters in Political Science program. On top of that I have a law degree from Suffolk University. I have also worked for Grassroots Campaigns in their finance office for the last four years. So I am enmeshed into politics. There are things I enjoy besides religion and politics. Eating -either in or out- is a big hobby of mine. There are a variety of different ethnic foods I enjoy. (Japanese, Chinese, French, Italian, etc.) Walking is my other big hobby. I usually walk for an hour and a half everyday. On weekends I enjoy going out for coffee and sometimes bars. I enjoy comedy as well. In addition to watching The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, I enjoy Seinfeld,Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, and The (British) Office. Do not be afraid to drop me a line.
